I once saw a tiny picture of this woman in a magazine and I thought how nice it would be to make a large oil rendition of this classical American native beauty. I may have made some personal changes to the original picture, but I am happy with the final result. For some reason I envision her walking in the fields of Oklahoma, although I have never personally been there, but the tall grass waving in the wind reminds me of a description of the prairie I read in a book by Emilio Salgari when I was a child.
