Cristina is a self-taught Romanian artist based in Dubai. Her mediums are acrylic and oil and her work is mostly composed of abstract and seascape paintings.

She has always been drawn to her artistic side. She has been drawing since she was very young and when she became a teenager she started being interested in theater, however her painting journey started in 2019 and flourished in 2020 during the pandemic.
​
Cristina likes to experiment with different mediums and styles of painting. She paints fast, following her emotions and intuition, this is why she prefers using acrylics, as they dry very quickly. This allows her to lay down many layers of paint, using the palette knife, thus creating complex abstract artworks.
​
Through her work she tries to explore the human emotions and thoughts and to express the feelings of freedom, acceptance and hope.
